I have a base model Deville but man, do I absolutely love the interiors of the DHS/DTS trim levels. Especially the wood trim on the steering wheel and the little extra horsepower.

One of the softest riding cars I’ve ever ridden/driven. The seats are like couches

@@thatgaming3006 I've had mine for the past 7 years, Pearl white 2004 Base model. Averaged about 1100-1400 a year in repairs. Lots of things can be worked on if you're an amateur mechanic. Will most likely leak oil though from the following places: Valve covers, Rear Main Seal, Front main seal, Oil Pan Gasket, Transmission Fluid from Bushings on axel. Rack and Pinion will eventually go. I replaced 3 wheel bearings, fairly easy job though. Window regulators, I replaced 4. I've replaced all of this over 7 years with the car, bought it with 40,000 miles, currently have 108,000. Biggest bill I racked up was $2000 when getting multiple leaks taken care of and replacing the rack and pinion all at once. Don't let the front valve cover leak for long because it will make the alternator blow out. Learned this the hard way... twice. Although it all sounds bad just remember, these cars are typically purchased fairly cheap and you cant buy a car these days that rides even CLOSE to as smooth as these do. As long as you keep the tires balanced you're good. I put Vogues on mine and you feel like you're on a cloud when cruising on the high way. Even the new XTS' don't compare to the ride and comfort of the seats. Even though I just bought a 2011 cts, I'll probably keep this deville till the wheels fall off.
