How did you get the side cover off? Mine catches on the frame

Thats strange, that cover came right off and didnt catch the frame

I'm sure the shop will tell you this but you can't just get one half of the case they won't match you have to buy a set

why don't you just tap the hole thats stripped and buy a new outer cover so they don't have to split the cases

+megawhip1 The bolt hole is completely stripped out, its destroyed, theres no way of fixing it so a new right case is whats needed

Got a question for you, I just re assembled my Suzuki dr 200 and It won't shift into 1st, it shifts into 2nd but not first. Also I am hearing a rattling in my motor, coming from around my kickstart/ clutch area. The rattling only happens at higher rpms, could it possibly be my first gear, or something to do with it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

First off thanks man for the 2000th subscribe! Hmm, id first make sure the shift lever isint bent and the clutch cable adjuster is adjusted right. It sounds like the 1st gear is stripped out, missing its teeth. The shift shaft could be bent. The shift forks might not be working properly when being engaged, or not riding in the shift cam correctly for some strange reason. The clutch plates could be worm slap out or broken, or the clutch basket could be grooved really bad. I'd also make sure everything on the right side of the engine in the clutch area is in place correctly. The rattling sounds like when the kick starter is pushed down while the engines running. Make sure the kick starter return spring is not broken(that's inside the clutch case) or the kick starter mechanism is all in place and not worm out or broken to were it could be engaging while the engines running. Hope this helps you out man!

85ccmaster thanks for the insight, but I know that it is not the kickstarter being pushed down, the noise is not constant and it on and off, It cant be the kickstarter it makes A slightly different noise. btw the shifter is not bent, my clutch although does not seem to be fully engaging, either the cable or something internal. I am taking the cover off soon for further inspection . thanks for the help I very much appreciate it.

85ccmaster found a few issues, the nut on your clutch that is difficult to tighten down (the one your supposed to have a special tool for) was only on by like a thread or two. and my clutch springs were not tightened how there supposed to be either.

Quick question what do you do for maintenance of your 150rb?

+Z Bushbaum Keep fresh gas in it, clean the filter often, and change the oil and filter often, along with chain adjustment and cleaning the bike after a few rides

Yes im better suited on a 4 stroke, my riding style is better on a 4 stroke and I enjoy riding a smaller bike than a big bike lol
