I've got an 02 low Rider and love it. Runs like a champ. 65k miles and no major issues. Tensioners look great. Need some mid pegs for it. Only has forward controls.

Carbs seem to get a bad name. It is due to people not knowing how to tune them. They are the best and super reliable when taken care of.

my local HD dealership has a 2002 lowrider with 26000 miles on it. im on a 2015 iron 883 and im going to test ride it tomorrow. if i like it, do you think they would let me straight trade?

dang. i got lucky. they gave me 7600 for my iron and dropped the FXDL from 7300 to 6300 to make my downpayment doable. thanks for your help man! going to pick up my bike tomorrow

700!???? To put forward controls on? Lol that's not true. Grab a wrench and do it yourself. It's all part of owning a motorcycle. Ride it and work on it yourself. Dont waste the money paying someone 100 an hour to do something so simple

What you can do is quickly becoming rare. I got a 02 lowrider that was never riden because they couldn't make it run good due to a severe intake leak. But she puring now.
