Some facts - Vectra CLUB - base version, Champion cloth seats, Prestige Blue body color . But in 2002 base Vectra had standard AC, Radio CD, and 6x Airbag so not bad.

Great review. I ve also a vectra c gts 1.8 2003 model. I spend 450 euros and it gains around 10ps more from a cpu remap and a k&n air filters. It drives pretty well and the top speed on flat road is around 210km/h. On the same road stock was 204km/h gps :D And of course it accelerates better than stock

The car vectra was available in INDIA 🇮🇳 from 2003 to 2005 and from 2006 the opel brand closed in INDIA 🇮🇳 opel came in INDIA from 1996 and launched Astra after that corsa sail , corsa , corsa swing

In INDIA 🇮🇳 the car has 2.2 litre petrol engine with 147horsepower and 208kmph top speed and only 500 units of vectra selled in 🇮🇳 INDIA 😢😢

As I see it's performance I think there are still more or or less 45 hp in this engine....

It just has very tall gearing for this engine - I suspect they use the same gearbox in all petrol engines(with the same gear ratios). The most powerful engine is twice as powerful as this little 1.8 and those tall gears would suit it well, but here the acceleration is just non existent :(

Seems like a cam shaft sensor & smthing else is broken. Check engine light is on and the engine is in emergency mode. That only lets you go 4500rpm and also limits the power

As I said in another comment - gearing is just too tall for its 170-ish Nm. I have driven the same vectra and hit 150km/h in 3rd gear at about 6k RPM 😁 I suppose at redline it will reach 160 which is what 4th gear should do in such a small NA petrol engine with no torque

Mam ten motor w astrze h gtc...j*bany sztrucel, zero momentu obrotowego. Jedzie jak honda tylko że zakres użytkowy jest od 4500 do 5500. Nie da sie tym jechać. Odradzam ten silnik, zresztą widać, w katalogu 11/12s a w realu 20sekund do setki bo na wysokich obrotach nie ma jazdy

jak się nie dba o silnik to tak jest. Przy sprawnym silniku Vectra C z 1.8 122 robi 0-100 lekko ponad 10s. Przez chwilę miałem okazję pojeździć takim autem i zaskoczyła mnie pozytywnie dynamika w porównaniu do Vectry B z 1.8 125. Silniki opla czy też fiata są bardzo czułe na ustawienie rozrządu. Mało kto używa blokad przy wymianie rozrządu, a później ludzie się dziwią dlaczego auto nie ma mocy itd. Nawet nie wiesz ile naprawiłem tych 1.8 PB i 1.9 cdti/jtd po "fachowcach"...

@@ebc_gif_studio7534 1.8 Z18XE to stary dobry silnik bez zmiennych faz i to jest jego piętą achillesową. Na zmiennych fazach by był bardziej gładszy i miał moment w szerokim zakresie obrotowym a nie od 3500 do 4200.

Nie zgodzę się mam Z18XE i na dynamikę nie narzekam bo Vectra to też nie jest lekkie autko. Owszem brakuje czasem mocy ale to też tylko 122KM nie ma co oczekiwać. Mondeo MK2 w 2.0 benzynie 136KM zbierał mi się lepiej. Normalnie ten opel przyspiesza jak w katalogu mniej więcej 11 sekund. Tego że Tobie tak wolno się zbiera może być przyczyną chociażby przepływomierz zawalony. To nie jest normalne.

@@ronalo8407 Osiągi ma, 11s do sety.. ale usytuowanie momentu obrotowego jest antydynamiczne. Fakt z niskich obrotów, tak od 1.5k do 2.5k fajnie wstaje, ale przy jeździe dynamicznej no nie da się tym jechać, gdzieś się wbić a o wyprzedzeniu 2 ciężarówek na krajówce nie wspomnę
