Bought one of these in the early 2000s, like a go kart on steroids, amazing handling and very quick exceleration. Loved every minute of owning one

Hey, it's Clayton and Flavien! :D How's Flavien doing? We never see him on Oppo much anymore! Love the little Peugeot....we need more small, light, cheap fun hatchbacks these days...

Mate of mine had a normal 106 with a 1.6 8V engine swapped in. Stripped interior and a 1.1L gearbox and it was deceptively fast

I'd love to see a 3 part series where you find younger people (I mean like 16 just passed the drivers test) who are strictly spec sheet car enthusiasts who have like Lambo and Ferrari posters on their wall and drive mostly modern 3000+ lbs vehicles, and you set them on a back road with a super light, naturally aspirated 80s or 90s hatch that costs no more than like $5000 second hand on Facebook marketplace or something. Then, part 2 would be have them drive a car that is as close to if not the same car but in total has like $5000 done in tasteful mods, or basically a car that has a total budget of $10000 all said and done. Then in part 3 let them drive a Hellcat or a Corvette (and I know this is where it'd become impossible for insurance reasons) and let them talk about their experience with all of them. I think it would open a lot of them up to looking at cars in a new way. You could even do multiple events like straight line, parallel parking, b roads, basic maintenance (like change the oil) I think there could be lives changed for real.

America was late to the hot hatch game...then Ford brought two hot hatches after all the others were gone.
