I have this exact boat. I had kinda a dumb question. I need to change the valve cover gasket, due to oil on the plugs. Do I really need to pull the motor to do this??

Are you referring to the cylinder head gasket? If so, you can remove them without pulling the engine off. Since this is a 2 stroke, it doesn't have valves.

No simply the valve cover gasket, I just wasn't sure if I can change it without oil going everywhere.

I have a 2005 Sea Doo Utopia 205 with a Mercury 240 V6 M2 EFI, I’ve been getting a long beep once I accelerate but goes away once I slow down at idle speed. What’s your thoughts?

Its most likely ur oil sensor magnet in the tank. Its a peice of sh*t that cant be fixed. Tape a strong magnet to the edge of ur oil tank to trick it into thinking its full.

Does it beep at full throttle or? If that is so, it's the overheating beep.

@wofo006t as of sept3, 23, i fixed it all up. The alarms were the oil sensor(fixed with magnet, and the steady beep then non stop beep at full throttle was the throttle position sensor(TPS), It fixed it all. And the damn hot start-no start condition was the electric walbro pump(40psi rating), was staying stuck after a warmed motor run and a shutoff. Then it wouldnt pump till it cooled down.

@russellhuston6481 I'm glad you get it figured out. Mine is not starting because of the main relay, and then I installed a new one. It ran for a bit and fried the relay again. I'm not sure why it's doing that. Let me know if you have any idea.

@wofo006t go through every ground and connector. And def check fuel line pressure for35-40psi. Also make sure ur fuse blocks are absolutely working. I had 2 by the battery box that looked great, but when i wiggled/tested them they were screwy. New fuses and scratching up inside the connector fixed mine.

(UPDATE - FIXED, ANSWER IS IN COMMENTS) ..QUESTION - I have an 03 seadoo speedster with the merc 240 m2 efi v6, runs mint,etc, all day long.. as soon as i shut it off and try to restart it, it just rolls over.. i have perfect compression(125/each cyl), 100% spark on all cylinders, but... the injectors will not squirt fuel if motor is at operating temp...if i sit for 20 mins, bam, starts n runs all day long.. ive hooked up a scan tool, tested the sensors, nothings off.. WTF !!! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IT IS..

I'm not sure what would do that. The main relay may not function properly. I would check that.

(Fixed !).. turns out it was the high pressure fuel pump. Runs fine when cold. But upon restart it would be warm from running and be "stuck" like a dirty fish tank pump when its all full of growth and power cuts off, then when u plug the tanks pump back in it just hums. All these mercruiser pumps, electronics are out there under different brandings. They wanted $700 cdn herein Ontario,Canada for an electric pump. I cross referenced the walbro pump that was in my 03 merc 240 m2 efi and my parts store guy found the same one sold as a pump in a 90s manure spreader. ($142+tax cdn). Only difference was polarity(which is marked on the old one, and new one), and the clips were smaller, so i cut em off and switched em around. Easy peasy. And the bottom has no screen. But who cares, the fuel is 20 micron screened at the filter anyways. And fuel is dumped out in the fall from the vapour tank anyways so no gook will gum up in there.
