www.4x4TV.TV first aired in 2001 with coverage of the beginning events in the Extreme Rock Crawling Championships. We still have lots of that classic footage that we will be putting up just to bring a tear to your eyes for the good old days.
www.4x4TV.TV tested many factory four wheel drive vehicles during our early days and you can see the tests we did all categorized on our website.
www.4x4TV.TV projected several amazing vehicles including Elsie, our beloved FJ60 that was my family cruiser and remains in the shop to this day - and until the day they plant me in the ground. We also restored and period projected a very nice FJ40 that ended up in the hands of a friend, "Bottle-a-day Dave." Anyone ever run across Dave Yarington (a rabid cruiser enthusiast - okay 'nut') please have him contact me. We also projected a great old Cherokee named Scofield (named after my friend who bought it new and explored many backroads in it). That Cherokee also still remains in my family, now driven by my son-in-law and most likely soon to be my Grandson's daily driver. Proof that good machines never die.
www.4x4TV.TV also went on some incredible adventures, certainly our favorite thing to do. We traveled a lot of cool trails around southern California as well as the infamous (in the ATV world!) Piute Trail area and of course Moab. What we love most are the scenic trails! You can find them all listed on our website as well.
www.4x4TV.TV had a few trail tips (which I hope to do more of), abad product reviews on both items for your rig as well as to make your trail experience better.

Thanks Doug for these uploads. Unfortunately not all of us want or are able to buy new these days. I found an 02 Frontier XE 4x4 King non super with only 62,000 miles onto it...Great shape also,i just may buy it.

Hello Mark. No, I didn't buy it as the dealer decided to keep the truck for himself,,lol! I ended up with a mint condition 2003 Ford F-150 STX 4x4 with 88,000 miles on it. Wasn't going to go full size, but now glad I did...Love the truck!

i have the frontier but 2wd 200,000 plus miles on it now ...it has been a pretty durable truck .............have 2 complaints ....truck has no super charger so its weak as piss an the seats suck ...........thats about it ...........had it for 6 years no problems ......not sure if it will last as long as a toyota ....it drives an has the same amount of power as it did when i got it

That's why I love my 2015 Nissan Frontier it's basically a 2005 low tech high durability

hey I'm thinking about getting a Nissan frontier from a used car lot, its supercharged, has the v6, 4x4, it has 150,000 on it, and they want around 9grand for it. drives nice. it's an 02. Ive only owned jeeps but want to either get a Chevy Colorado or something like this.

+mark will Supercharged is something that costs more money to fix. More gas and less reliable than 3.3. Price is not everything get a good one. I have seen them $15k good examples. Jeep 4.0 is hard to beat

Ford is so craptastic! Wonder if Raptor will be something no one wants in 10 years. Is it me or does D22 aussi style navara look like a classic in crew cab? Nissan and Toyota only choice! Ok I bought Explorer back then what was I thinking?

i will be very pleased if you help to to choose between F-250 6L diesel 2004 and Dodge RAM 1500 5.9 diesel same year

The Dodge diesel is probably a better engine but the Ford truck is most likely a better built truck. It's a tough choice but for me personally I'd choose the Ford. Of course as always on a used vehicle the condition and maintenance is most important.

Surprisingly enough, the Tacoma's TRD Supercharged 3400 was not mentioned at all. It is much more powerful than the Nissan.
