Sounds like you are off to a good start. Don't forget to use fuel stabil and a battery maintainer when storing the bike.

Thanks for all the pointers. I've just got a 2007 version lovely bike but I was really shocked by the poor turning circle. In the UK, turning left was awkward - is that what you were referring to about the steering. I've never seen this mentioned elsewhere.

Was that spring not seeded right causing that plunger to stick from your previous video?
@fwh79FOXR65 жыл бұрын
jerellis1983: Yes, that spring was not seated properly and that was causing it to bind up.

You have any stock carbs used that you aren't using? Don't care what they look like just need a functioning assembly, I have working parts just no assembly the past owner neglected this Brit beauty for 12 years and gave it to me. I'm rebuilding it for my dad's b'day but am on a slow income dredge. He has had his licence for a while now and can't afford a bike. I cant shoes what ebay is offering and I'm in search of some Triumph riders help to get him his bday present early so he can ride this summer. He's in poor health so the quicker I can get some generous help the better his bday will be. Please ask around your Triumph buddies and their garages, maybe one them bought aftermarket parts and has what his bike needs to get it firing up. 12 years in the weather are the carb and the gas tank, anything 01 to 08 Bonnie T100's will fit. Please someone help me find these parts. I'll forever be in debt to you, just to make my Dad his bike for this year. Please ask anyone anywhere, I can not reach out far enough to find these parts with such a low income and it'll be later than his bday waiting for India to stop screwing around and taking my money. Got canned twice now trying to buy the same tank from 2 different India dealers and both of them took the money, but ebay got me the money back but I need the tank and any used carb that will work, I can make it look good later, just needs to function.
