My dad and I missed our flight from Nashville to Columbus so we flew to Houston, then St. Louis, then Chicago, and finally to Columbus. Got in at 11:00 P.M. on Friday. I turned 13 the next day. One incredible memory.

I was there. We had seats right down across from where he was stopped short of the goal line and he knew it. Quite a comeback it was a good game. Wasn't a surprise we heard the name Philip Rivers in the NFL.

Bucks got lucky in that one. I was suprised NC State went on to have such a hum drum season. They had Phillip Rivers Jerricho Cotchery. Manny Lawson on D.

Michael Neely well, it took a long time but he’s seemed to grow into a good man. It’s unfortunate he made the decisions he made and essentially ruined though.
@osu5inarow
@osu5inarow 4 жыл бұрын
@Michael Neely Well, what hurt him was more the AD and NCAA screwing him over in a scumbag way. If it wasn't for them, he may not of had those issues as they happened almost as a result of that. I'm not particularly trying to defend him but, when a person loses someone extremely close and then get lied to and punished at the same time, it can ruin a person.

This year would of been they only championship. The one against Miami they cheated and won that. Go back and watch the bs pass interference call that was called 5 seconds after the game was over

Jim's algorithm allowed for close finishes. The early days are almost unwatchable due to 3 yds and a cloud of dust. Woody's adage I know but Jim played it as well. Jim/Fickell D of smart players bend but don't break. Oh well. Earl/Coop zero, Jim 1 natty, Urbs 1 natty, Day no nattys yet. I believe both Jim & Urbs were espnd from 2.

NFL hall of fame Quaterback Philip Rivers . Hopefully they Colts will get to Superbowl. What a way to send a career in This NFL to help four team win a Superbowl. Say whatever you want the arms. Philip is a tremendous competetitor and winner . He still hold all the passing seconds and touchdowns comp,eyed at NC State. Go pack

How many NFL players player in that game? 6 or 7 from NCSU I know probably 15 to 25 is my guess total
@sargondp69
@sargondp69 2 жыл бұрын
Low guess. OU has many, as always, two I know played for the Panthers (Gamble and Carter). One lineman blocked for Rivers in SD. State here has around 10 pros in the starting line-up alone, three were #1 picks (Lawson was also #1 pick). Hard to place any accurate number as some players are in the NFL part of a season or two and then done, often injured like J. McCargo who was a first round pick to Buffalo, oddly where M. Williams and M. Lawson from State both played together later. State had 3 OT losses this season. This defense for State is #1 in the country the next season (then #11 the next year), but Rivers is gone and the offense was so bad they had a losing record - an amazing feat really.

Rewatching this game there were some seriously questionable calls at the end of this game against Ohio state. But in the end if they were getting homered, they would have said that rob was in at the end. So those calls may have been justified I don’t know.

Ugh; bad game for me, neither team hit 100 rushing yards. I can put up with low rush totals in NFL games; because the Passing offenses are so well designed, and have to be flawlessly executed to defeat NFL coverages on a down to down basis to move it down the field. But NCAA is a Rushing league; B1G is a Rushing Conference; and my Buckeyes; passing is for sissies who NEED to do it because theyre so weak 2 runs and they're in 3rd and 8. I just can't bear to see them fail so badly at imposing their will.
