2003 Bentley Arnage T - Bentley Omitec and the alarm from hell

Terry, my 2005 Arnage alarm suddenly began audible alarm plus all emergency lights flashing. Can't figure out how to shut it off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. John in San Antonio.

John, You'll need to scan it with an omitec scan took that will read the fault codes. The siren houses the backup batteries which may be on their way. If you take it apart, you can get a new pack made at batterie plus.

@@aalabbasi . Terry, thank you very much. So, are the "Nicad" batteries in the siren housing? Three Bentley service departments didn't return my call today regarding this, yet you took the time to help. I'm concerned because I read they last 10 years, and can "leak", and thereby ruin the circuit board. I appreciate you doing this for us very much! John in San Antonio

I need to program a key do you have an extra Omi tool for sale or know where I can get one?

@@aalabbasi thanks for the reply they don’t have any and the loaner one has a waiting list. Do you know if a 1996 Azure has transponder chip? Is the key program requesting the round plug or obd plug? I saw that you actually had the software in a Mac scanner can the software be uploaded to any similar machine?

Try disconnect the house battery first. And then wait 30 mins. Now turn the ignition to stage 2( before starting). Finally connect back the house battery cable with the ignition in stage 2. And start the car.

Hi, you may need to send the alarm module away to be tested. Here in the UK we have the genius that is John Bowling Engineering in Bolton Greater Manchester. I suggest contacting them with this problem. Also, I see you have two scan tools. would one be for sale, as I need one?

Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. I expect that I will take the modules with me on my next visit to the UK. I've sold one of the scan tools to a RROC member so I'm now down to one.

Not a clue. Do you know who makes the alarm for Bentley? That might be a way into finding out how to deal with it... any RR Bentley forums?
