I will never forget this game ! Sooner defence looked like they ran a 5K by the 4th qtr. Trying to stop Sproyles ! Go Cats, statement made!!

D Sproles went legend in this game...this was an amazing achievement for K State and their program..to go into a hostile environment and give up a first play rushing touchdown and then NOTHING the rest of the game was epic..K State smashed on Sooner Nation in their house..was beautiful..

I was at this game, it was in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. So more of a home field for State than Oklahoma. I was young but I remember they had a bag of Tostitos chips in each seat to represent the fiesta bowl, and I started throwing my chips at some big Oklahoma fan a few rows down. Well, my dad had to settle that score for me haha

I remember watching this game in college, blown out of our minds, wondering when OU would kick it into gear. K-State was amazing that night and played a perfect game.

I remember watching this in high school and was blown away because as an Oklahoman, we weren't used to seeing OU lose, and taken out like this. Our house wasnt OU or KState fans, but damn it was exciting to see Sproles and K-State tear it up.

I was the only person in America who wasn't a K-State fan who picked them to win this game. Had Roberson not been injured early in the season K state would have won it all.

Unforgettable, surreal night; we watched w/the AZ alumni at a bar in Glendale, AZ, but I had committed to provide score updates via texting on my Skypager to my brother, who got suckered into attending a show at McCain in Manhattan. Apparently when we turned the game in the 2Q, a crowd was forming in the balcony waiting for my updates. As ther game wound down in the 4Q, Jonathan Beasley (from Glendale) and his cousin got up and led the group in the K-S-U Wildcat cheer...

Yea i remember this one. I couldn't believe the beating KSU put on OU. Was very impressed KSU rolled up OU they way they did. To bad KSU lost against OSU though in the Fiesta Bowl. I'm a huge OSU fan though. But I always want to see KSU have great seasons.

A great, great win for Kansas State, especially since Stoops raided the KSU staff while they were prepping for the 98 big12 championship and should have been playing for the NC game that year.

I remember the "Greatest team ever" talk for Oklahoma in 2003. Reminded me of 2005 USC. Or how both the Patriots and Colts were called that in the NFL in years in which they ended up not winning the Super Bowl.
@Jean1juan14 жыл бұрын
hey look, kansas satate was #15 but oklahoma was #1 at 8 minutes 53 you see this was Bill snyder's 15th season and his 1st conference title the numbers sure do match up

What I have noticed, Oklahoma chokes in big games. A lot you look at their history of the BCS era. Lost the 2004 National Championship to LSU Got blown out in the 2005 National Championship by USC Lost in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl to Boise State Lost in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl to West Virginia Lost in the 2009 National Championship Game to Florida

December 6, 2003. The same night I came down with the flu. If there's any benefit to running 103 degree fever, it's that I was too sick to care about my Sooners on the business end of one of the worst ass-whippings in school history. Damn, what a beating.

If God means nothing to you why do you invoke a fictitious being? Fyi, I'm not religious either, just spirtual. Big difference.
@PVcat113 жыл бұрын
@skankuser You won't be able to plead ignorance, now will you? You are definately a man of faith because it takes more faith to believe God doesn't exist, than to believe He does. Now tell me what man could have possibly concocted the 10 commandments? The answer is none. The Bible was written over 1600 years in 66 books by 40 authors yet it doesn't contradict itself. Length doesn't let me go on. Please do not fool yourself and do some research on reliability of Bible.

Yahweh or the Americanized, God, is my best friend, Savior, Creator, and Lord and it does hurt when ignorant people profane and not reverence His name. Believe me, God needs no defending and will not be mocked. We have no comprehension how big He is and how merciful He is. His patience will come to an end, however. There are going to be some very "disappointed" people.
@PVcat113 жыл бұрын
@skankuser No need to apologize to me. You will be meeting Yahweh when you enter into eternity. At that point it will be too late to say I'm sorry. For the way to life is narrow and only a few will find it.
@PVcat113 жыл бұрын
@skankuser Why do you have to invoke God's name in vain over a football game. Do you have any idea who God is? He is your creator and creator over the universe.
