Love it. This generation (GMT800) is in the time where they either transforms into rust buckets or are "saved" to become future collectibles. I got my 155 k miles (rust protected) GMC yukon for USD 4800:- one year ago (a bargain) and from here it will only get more expensive. In three-four years, it will cost USD 15 000:- based on the fact that most crap is fixed and it is a tank. Keep them clean and change the oil ("all the time") - be prepared to change some engine parts (Lifters, knock sensor, O2 sensors), bushings and some part of the exhaust.. as the shock dampers - you will be fine. AND: KEEP IT ORIGINAL!

It's even worse over here in Germany. Rust Buckets & Shit Boxes for over 10k€ / 11k $ because people don't took & don't take care & just want to drive a V8 once in their life without investing anything more then Gas. I hopefully found me one well maintained 4x4 '03 Tahoe with 157k ml / 250k km & looking forward to get it in the next two weeks. Even with our high gas prices (8.30$ per Gallon / 2,15€ per Liter) over here, I just love those US Trucks. Sold my '93 C1500 SportSide / Stepside because I wanted something with 4x4 & more passenger seating. Hard to afford in Germany when it comes to emission taxes & fuel, but I just love me my american V8. Always worth the import for me or trying to get one already here.
