Joo - so amazing footwork....Kong - so perfect topspin technique Great match
@brahms00810 жыл бұрын
Kong Linghui technic is a must-see to every ping fan. The elasticity and flex for the top spin is amazing, power from the ground, strong switch from the waist and perfect timing to hit or brush the ball.

Kinda plays against choppers like Waldner and Persson used to play.They used sidespin loops to create angles and pushing-playing drop shots to force the chopper to cover maximum ground.
@sanyasyniushkevych18684 жыл бұрын
@@dickn.ormous1064 Dick aka "Short Dick" Ormous is a great TT expert lol :) What do you mean by plays LIKE someone? Why don't you just play against choppers like Persson? Why don't you just drive kinda like Ayrton Senna? Kong played against choppers like Kong.
@dickn.ormous10644 жыл бұрын
@@sanyasyniushkevych1868 If you ever knew about table tennis you would know early in his career Kong was sent to Sweden for six months to copy Waldner's and Persson's game.The sidespin loop was Waldner's trademark shot against choppers.

"Both players took some doping before this match xD" Yes, they were both pretty high in greatness! I think I´ve never seen JSH this fast and aggressive, and KL´s forehand was at its best! It seems obvious that 2003 was a great moment for both, taking in consideration their participation in the wttc that same year :D
I must say Zhang Jike is the modern version of Kong Linghui. They are much more identical specially on the movement and footwork. One thing I was amazed is that, if you only look at Kong Linghui's leg. You'd hardly identify is it of Zhang Jike's or Kong Linghui's.

youre right on. it went from KLH to ZJK to FZD
@olaniyi5706 жыл бұрын
I know the are similar but I prefer Kong technique over Jike any day.
@3xitt4 жыл бұрын
@@olaniyi570 Zhang Jike has much better backhand. FHD is the latest & fastest update of this TT game style (more balanced forehand & backhand, bigger stress on footwork and power from the ground etc.)...
its just awesome. both of them are so good at this time. wish i had happened to be there live.

Dios mio...

Hard to beat for excitement as an example of attacker-defender at the highest level. Whoever originally created these highlights was clearly a Kong fan - the clips chosen suggest heavily that Kong won easily, rather than the outcome being a knife-edge finish in the 7th end! It would be great if someone re-edited the original to show a better balance of points won by the two players, without losing the fantastic energy of these clips. (Janus, or similar great TT editor, where are you?)
@kaidong270610 жыл бұрын
I think it might also be that when Kong loses most points by just missing a loop, missing a short push. Majority of points for defenders are coming from attacker making unforced error, am I right? But it could be biased since I haven't watch the hole match. I am not sure.
