That box would have been nuts back in the day. Akroma was running for 23+ bucks, Phage was like 15, and Scion of Darkness easily over 10 as well. Nice video, reminded me of the luckiest pulls i had, went to a store and bought, 8 boosters, got 2 Akromas, as a noob that had almost no cards, that was bonkers. I still play with some of those Elves, started playing during Onslaught. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Onslaught, Legions, Scourge. Thats the last time I played MTG. Still have my Zombie deck. Noxious Ghoul's + Call to the Grave's with these I would build up a zombie army without attacking and killing off all other creatures. Wait until I got a Gempalm Polluter to cycle it, it does 1 damage to target player for each zombie in play, combo that with an Unholy Grotto. Would devastate the opponents creatures without ever attacking and deal direct damage to players through a cycling ability, cycling cant be counter spelled. Everyone hated my deck :P Need to update the deck, but want to keep this general theme intact. RUDY and to the PATRON, thank you, thank you again, for opening this box! The fee fee's, the nostalgia, GIGGITY!

Oh man this was such a treat! I saw this video on the side and was like YES! Hell freaking yes! I got introduced to Magic in 2003 and yes some of my first ever cards that I got from that beautiful individual was from Onslaught, Legions and Scourge. So seeing this was amazing! I remembered almost all the cards that you pulled including the commons! 😃 The first thing I noticed was the quality of the cards, my god they are pretty! Even the bunch of cards from this set that I have are still looking clean and smooth as ever! The other thing was the cards themselves and not just the nostalgia but there are so many cool cards! 1 of my absolute favorites of this set is the Blue beauty: Mistform Wakecaster! The color combination, how the blue goes perfectly into the blue inner frame, the black border fits nicely with the darkness of the explosion, the feel, the aaaaaah so nice! Anyway... I came across your channel like 2 years ago and instantly found it very interesting! However I wasn't into magic then, so my inspiration went elsewhere. That was until an irl friend of mine suddenly after a year knowing him told me he was into Magic! Thus my interest got resparked and I was buying packs again, joining drafts which I hadn't done since well 2003/2004 (I think the last draft was Mirrodin which I absolutely loooooved!) I knew I still had this channel saved in my bookmarks and my friend kept telling me about your videos and stuff. Then now just a few days ago as I searched for cards to buy online I once again encountered your channel! Specifically the video where you explain the difference between US and european cards, because the seller has a reference to that video to enlighten oblivious people, which is nice! As soon as I clicked on the video and heard your voice I instantly recognized everything about you and many past viewings etc and I got right back! Also I could both see and feel the difference from watching that video! I did not know this myself + my old ass cards still smell like magic! ❤️ I spent pretty much the whole of yesterday watching your videos because I was trying to stay awake to change my sleep rhythm and it worked like a charm! Not only did it work but it was very entertaining and exciting! Back to this video/Legions thing: When I saw this video I was thinking from hearing about all the patreons you open for if it would be possible to become 1 myself! So I checked the patreon thing out and while trying to figure out what tier I wanted to get I noticed that you're only shipping to the US ?! =( You have soooooo many old sets that would been absolutely amazing to open for myself but I guess it's not possible considering I live in Norway or is there still a way ? (I am a firm believer of possibilities) Last but not least: I love your videos and regarding what people said about your desire of following your inspired, magical journey it doesn't mean shit what anybody says and feels and thinks about it. It's your decision and it's your life. Do what you want and fuck those who disagree.

Oh my lord, it's the set I started playing magic. I made so many wacky decks like full white cleric deck and the whole point of the deck is to prevent as much damage as possible for 2 head giant play, or my favorite black zombie deck played around the cycle card and player(s) loses life points deck. So many fun memories, thank you Rudy and fellow patron.

I use to play with big creature, especially in black. Dark rituals and a few other tricks let me get them out relatively fast plus Quicksilver amulets, plenty of tricks to let you make the massive cost creature dirt cheap. Of course my favorite big creature combo that won me many matches way back in the day was Serra's Avatar + lifelink + trample. This was before exile was really a thing so getting rid of the Avatar was rather difficult, you had destroy or bury cards but then it just goes back into the deck and with four in there odds are good.
