My Camrys heat meter rises after starting fast but never goes pass half is that coolant problem or something more serious??

How fast does it rise? I would think that if it is not going past half, the system is regulating the temperature properly.

@@InsaneOilmine rises fairly fast but it doesn’t go past half I took it on a 2 hour drive didn’t overheat still thinking about doing a flush since I’m not sure when it was fished the last time it’s at 190,000 miles

@@thatyounginjosh4531 The sure way to tell if it is time to change your coolant is to use an Antifreeze Test Strip. It will check both boil-over/heat protection as well as the ability to protect against rust and corrosion. www.amsoil.com/p/antifreeze-test-strips-g116/?zo=10458

Correct. If you coolant is a tad low, you can just add new coolant.
