One of the coolest GTOs powertrain wise. One of the cleanest GTOs looks wise, and now with AC. You have my dream setup. If only I had all the time and money to spend on mine.

When I first bought mine, I was horribly intimidated. I had just started the ag job I still work in now, making waaaaaaaaay less than I am now, but seeing people like Neal Patel with their GTOs and thinking "how the fuck do I get to that point?" 7 years, lots of overtime and a hatred for less stressful hobbies

It's a bit tight on the sides (especially the driver's side) and the front of the engine is extraordinarily compacted together, but the passenger side is pretty cake to get to. Thankfully I have enough room from the K out needing to remove the shroud, but it'd be an awfully delicate operation to do so. Shroud comes out super easy though once the intake elbow/filter is off, takes 5 minutes to yank it all

Will the original belt work stil?

I'd reckon not since the C6 bracket would change the positioning relative to the crankshaft pulley

@@masterfabricator looks like a Gates K040400 with a Gates C6 LS3 tensioner might be a winner!
