I used a prybar and just pryed up and all of the clips undid themselves. No dremel needed!

Great Vid. A flat head screw driver works great as well. Slide in twist and pry up. This will break the tab and not the hole

Terrible removal of old product but it's awesome you found a replacement for most people. I cut, routed, and glued a piece of oak to the old piece of white plastic and now everyone that sees mine with this model wants one. I'll send them to find that piece you found.

I just bought this part and will follow your video for installation. I have a 2006. A lot of customers on Amazon claim this won't fit 2006 but I'm wondering if they saw this video, they'd get it to work. TBD. Thanks!

The absolute easiest way to do this is slide a multi-tool blade under the original white plastic panel and cut the front and side tabs, then lift and break it away. Take a small flat head screwdriver to knock the old tabs in the console, then pop the new one on. Takes less than 5 minutes.

All you need to do is drill a small hole through the plastic behind each clip so you can then stick a small screwdriver in there to unclip them as you lift it off. There is another video on youtube you can see it in.
