Atleast you show how to replace all 8 unlike some channels they just show you how to replace just one.

Great diy video, approximately how long did it take you? Tia

I’d say less than 1 hr, it wasn’t too bad. Just have the right tools and you won’t run into problems.

Awesome video. Subscribed. I got a P0302: Number 2 Cylinder Misfire Detected code. Vehicle idles rough. Could just replacing the ignition coil fix this issue? Or should I also be replacing the spark plugs?
@NutzAboutBolts4 ай бұрын
Replace spark plugs first, erase the code and recheck, it’s usually spark plugs, ignition coils, or could be leaky valve cover gasket. Remove the spark plugs and check if it’s out of spec or if there’s oil on it.

@@NutzAboutBolts Thanks for the response. My question was actually pertaining to my neighbor’s Armada. He had purchased a new coil and we replaced it today. Cleared the code but it came back soon after. Planning to replace the spark plugs next.

@@Mopar3.6LV6I see, coils are expensive and rarely goes bad, I’d return the coils, and check the spark plugs to see if it’s soaked with oil, out of range of the gapping, or just worn down tips.

@@NutzAboutBolts Thanks again for the reply. While replacing the one coil, I removed that spark plug and there was no oil but could see that it was pretty worn down. Told him to buy the set and we will replace them all since he can’t remember the last time it was done so they’re pretty much due to be replaced.

Yeah, that's what I did and those are the same plugs I used. Engine didn't start at all. Go figure.

did it start before?
@paulcostinett88611 ай бұрын
@@NutzAboutBolts Of course it started before. Turns out the fusible links at the positive battery cable shorted during the new plug installation process. Not plug related; they just blew. First time for everything.

@@paulcostinett886glad you found the issue, must’ve shorted somewhere during your replacement
