My absolute favorite generation MDX and one of my all time favorite vehicles. It does and has all you’d need in a vehicle and on top of that it’s just gorgeous.

My dad has one with over 220k miles. Rusting and tons of lost features from him never maintaining it correctly or treating it well, but it still runs. Acuras from the 2000s were made with Hondas best.

Once again Kyle, you nailed it. Absolute perfect review, I’m planning on buying one next week. Your vid showed everything I wanted to see. I’m buying my mother in laws mdx and I don’t remember it very well due to only driving it a few times during last years major snow storms. Thank you very much. I deffinatly will buy it now since I’m driving a 01 Grand Prix gt on it’s last legs. Now that I remember it I did fix a few things on it last year, one blown fuse, one headlight bulb and hood supports were shot. Very simple things to fix and happen with any car. Ever since she has been driving my sister in law to her chemotherapy appointments and it still never skipped a beat.

I drove the car for 250,000 miles and it still runs, I love the car and is great in general. The car is built to last and I have had very few problems with it over the 8 years and I plan for it to go for another 200,000 miles. The back row, and middle row both fold down which is great for when I need the extra trunk space for work. You can be surprised how much the car fits. I like this car better than the 2006 lexus rx I had. I like how the car is sporty and the engine is loud.Good 1st car too.

My 5th grade teacher had a Billet Silver Metallic one just like this, no nav or Bose or DVD, had a Black Leather interior and Dark Wood interior trim, AWD Base Model...... still has it (I'm in 9th grade now), and she bought it used in 2006. Nice truck.

My Dad has 230,000 miles on his 04 MDX and it is still running great! There has been very few problems!... and as I have just got my license he is giving me this car. This car is great for reliability and I plan to drive this car for another 5 years until I graduate college. I am excited for the car and I agree that it will be a good first car.

my 2002 acura mdx is.. well pretty good for having 180K miles. it has that fabled transmission problem and the interior is kinda baked from Sacramento CA sun... but the engine still sounds and preforms better than my 2015 mdx. the hydrolic power steering is also much better than the new electric power steering. and last but not least, being able to lock the diff actually saved my ass one time.
@TheBaccaClench7 жыл бұрын
I've got the 06 base and the transmission problem infects mine as well, dealer won't do anything about it. But you say you can lock the diff? How do you do that? I understand that you could go into 4 wheel drive in first and second.

@koioo2 The CRX isn't for sale anymore in the EU. It was based on the Civic, first generation from 1983-1987, second generation from 1988-1992 and the thirt was the last, produced from 1992-1998. I don't know if it is on sale in America, but in Europe is there the CR-Z, in fact the fourth generation of the CRX, introduced this year. Wich s a hybrid by the way. The closest car in the EU to the Acura in this video, is probably the CR-V, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just so ppl know, when you turn the steering wheel when the car is parked, it can fuck up the power steering pump and other parts. If people think otherwise, just do it then and see lol
@SB-LifeOTR3 жыл бұрын
It won't do anything to any power steering components, the power steering pump has a return valve which engages when the pressure is too high, such as when you turn the wheel all the way til it stops, you then hear the pump whining, which is the return valve returning some pressure back into the power steering reservoir. The only thing you will do is create flat spots on your tires if you turn the steering wheel all the way back and fourth like 20 times while the car is parked.

This thing is nothing more then a honda accord because the engine and interior electronics are the same guts minus the lcd screen. All the guts are backwards compatible to other honda car and truck line up. This thing is really nice suv plateform but she needs a deeping cleaning to get the stains out. The J series engines in these suv are little power houses in the civic plate form if any of you do complete powertrain swaps.
