@@pamela7651 don't be sad for me be sad for athletes who has their moment taken. Sadly this era was full of athletes making huge improvements like tonique who went from an average 52 second runner to a 49 flat Olympic champion in her late 20s. Many athletes who made such strides did so doped up on clear. Many of whom tonique trained with. Her physical appearance changes hugely as well. No doubt she put hours of hard work in! But it wasn't just russia cheating! Doping is a massive issue now and was bigger in 2004... I would look at the list of female winners that year and very much doubt any won fairly nesternko won the 100 almost shares toniques huge improvement story! Halkia we know was banned was average just a few years before!
