2004 Craftsman GT5000 Cutting Blades Replacement

This video will take us in a slightly different direction from my normal welding projects. Here I explain and show the removal and replacement of three (3) cutting blades from a 2004 Craftsman Garden Tractor. This is not a complicated job. As long as one has the required tools and the accessibility to safely reach the underside of the tractor’s 48-inch mower deck, the basic building block approach and planning stages are then made possible to successfully complete the job safely.
Here the tractor is placed on a motorcycle lift and has been raised an additional 4-5 inches above the platform. For additional safety and security, the tractor is also supported by 6 jack stands.
This type of setup and work can also be done without a lift. This is made possible as long as the tractor is properly secured, and the safety of you and those around you is prioritized first and foremost.
