George Blaha, the sound of Pistons hoops my entire life! (I'm 36) I know he has had to split Pistons games with another network but *HE* and no other is the voice of the Pistons! Also, he was right about Elden Campbell in the 2004 Finals, Campbell came up huge hitting jumpers and playing great D.

Ben Wallace is a Hall of Famer, no doubt, put him in their already! He was the only man in the modern game to lead a team to a *WORLD* Championship using his skills on *Defense*! It is a joke they out less accomplished scorers in there and not Ben. For example, I'm sure they'll out Melo in there one day. Now ask yourself, which player contributed more to his team and won as successful in winning titles of getting as close as you can? After all that's what the games about; it's not a fantasy league. And if you need individual accolades Ben has those too as we know. Just a few highlights: 4 time DPOY (tied for most in HISTORY), All NBA 5x, All Defense 6x, All Star 4x. Simply put, basketball is game of offense and defense and he was the best defender of the 2000s and one of the best all time. It is a crime against humanity that he is not a Hall of Famer!

12 freaking minutes away from a back-to-back bid. If only the pistons could’ve figured out a way to contain manu ginobili in games 1, 2 and 7. 05 Pistons would’ve had the toughest road to a title. Overcoming the Palace Brawl by ending Reggie Miller’s career in Indianapolis, beating Shaq & D-Wade in Game 7 in South Beach and finding a way to escape San Antonio with a win in Games 6 AND 7.

that game 5 brah..Fuck Robert Horry played out of his mind and saved their asses that game..Detroit was the best team, they had them
@artmeddaugh66694 жыл бұрын
@@tol5516 It's always a mental mistake that cost the Pistons in a crucial moment. Rasheed left Horry open to double in the corner. Stay home and guard the three, make them make a two, that was dumb! Also in 1987 when Isiah threw the ball towards his own basket and Bird stole it, passed it to DJ for the game winner. Cost them a trip to the Finals that year. And in 1988 when Bill Laimbeer fouled Kareem on a Skyhook attempt with under 30 seconds to play up by 1 point. Kareem sinks both and the Lakers win game 6 by 1 point, despite Isiah's heroics. Two missed NBA Championships for sure and a missed opportunity to get another...Damn!
@ryumehara4 жыл бұрын
I think the crucial point in the 4th quarter of Game 7 was when coach Larry put Tayshaun on Duncan because Ben & Sheed were in foul trouble, and Tim really took advantage from that mismatch.. And the melt down of the Pistons started. Larry should have trusted Campbell on that situation, he's a veteran and have played well during their championship runs. And if only Okur have stayed that year they would have an extra big man to hold Duncan..

I don't know man. How do you suppose that would happen? There was the core group of Curry, Thompson & Durrant who were healthy in that year with a coach who succeeded Phil Jackson & maybe Gregg Poppovich. Besides their plan worked because they forced people to do automatics by taking jump-shots and the warriors are a team that's very good at taking jump-shots. How do you think they'll contain that?
