How long did it take to take it apart and put it back togather ? Seems to be a helpful video I'm about to go tackle this my a/c went out this summer was hissing out freon inside the cab now the heater core is leaking. Thanks for any help

Hey It’s been awhile did everything go back in ok. How about blend doors you went with the aluminum hinged models? Is the air conditioning and heating work well ? Do you still have truck.

I'm trying to take out the infinity factory amplifier in my 05 ram 2500. Do I have to remove the entire dash to do this? It's behind the glove box I see

@@aschadel yea it has heat but not blowing out like it should its not even getting nothing down at the feet

Good details. I cannot seem to get the big wiring harness connector on the passenger side disconnected. Any pointers? I sure do hate how every connector I run across is one I've never seen before.

If it’s the main connector, there is a bolt in the middle of it that holds it together. 10mm I think At the 8:17 mark in the video you can see this bolt on the main wiring harness as I zoom out.

I figured it out. It was the HVAC box power connector. Big ol’ connector. I finally shoved a tiny screwdriver down the shaft, which did the trick. They’re always obvious after you know. Thanks for the quick reply.

So if I remember correctly, I had to do some research and they were extra and are for the optional “chip” key...I think! I do remember having to figure out what they were and remember they go to nothing on my truck. Hope this helps.

I just looked again and found that it’s for the”key in lighting”...if your truck is equipped with it
