2004 Honda ST1300 brake light LED strobe upgrade

Just got an ST myself a couple of weeks ago. Upon further reading, it looks like these LEDs are 24 volts. I'm wondering if they will get messed up since bikes are 12 volts. Did you purchase them?

Install same led strobe in front turn signals. So now PAN looking wider and got strobe signal good on heavy traffic.

Hi, the specifications lower down the Amazon page suggest that these can be used with voltages between 9 to 30 volts - should be fine for your Pan.

@@PDG1956 The LED lights are already installed on my motorcycle. Excellent light and the flash really draws a lot of attention when braking. I think it is more security these days that many people drive looking down, their mobile phone. Thank you very much for your reply.

I put these kn my bike but then problem is I have an aftermarket cruise control on my ST. It doesn't work when these bulbs are in. Soni had the brilliant idea of wiring in another socket with a regular bulb. With that in place, the LED bulbs did not function properly. Any advice from anyone on that issue? I cant live without cruise, but I really want these bulbs to work.

Mr. Dale Dixon I am the owner of a 2005 Honda ST1300 motorcycle, I liked your video and I want to change my lamps. In the link that you provide from Amazon, I read that the new LED lamp is 24 volt ... The motorcycle is 12 volt, this confuses me and that is why I ask you or someone who may know to inform me, thank you very much.

The video must have a while, I remember that when I asked, at 24 hours they indicated the exact lamps, I bought them, installed them and they work perfectly. I recommend it, at times when many people are distracted looking at the mobile phone. Thanks a lot !

The license plate is now illuminated in red. Illegal in our state, needs to be white. Anyone knows if they come in white instead of red. I can't find them in white. Thanks

Hi Dale, did you eventually discover "Extra load resistors maybe required to avoid the error code or blinking issue" per the Amazon description? I also have an ST1300 and would like to install these if it's just a matter of changing bulbs. Thanks for the video.

I ordered a set of these from your link, paid for them, but package was delivered opened and led's missing, in place was a Chinese fake reef, so either stolen at the mail depot, or a Scam company. Thankfully Amazon is refunding me, which I videoed the delivery.

I asked the Honda service desk here in Ottawa to install the bulbs in the link ( 7440 7441 7443) while I was having other work done on my 2004 ST1300. He did ( he claimed) but said because they were only single filament they would not provide brake light PLUS taillight as it does in Dale's video. What gives? Is he wrong?
