2004 Land Rover Discovery 2 Headlight Restoration

Did the fading return after a while? My car wash guy did this for me, but after a year or so, they seem to be faded again. Wondering if a different product would work better.

I'd say it lasts about a year or two depending on if the car is stored outside or not. But yeah, the fading does come back. I've seen some guys use a clearcoat paint. Honestly, these days I've just started replacing the headlight unit, the reproduction's available on Amazon and eBay are very reasonable for most vehicles. Some, like these land rovers, they remain expensive.
