2004 Nissan Sentra Se-r Spec V review.

Giving a tour and review of my daily driver. I love this little car!

No lie man, I have a red 04 Spec V too. Everyone I know has told me to get rid of it but I bought it in 2006 and it's like you said, the B15 Spec V is getting somewhat rare. It just hit 180,000 original miles and the engine still runs like new. I have a 2016 maxima too, but the Spec V is WAY more fun to drive.

One of the most underrated cars...You have good taste in cars, I had a 2016 maxima a few years ago. It was a super nice car but it took all the fun out of driving. I'm glad to hear you still have your Spec V.

Hey man do you think these are good starter cars for learning manual? I found an 04' in pretty good shape with 137,000 miles on it. Seriously considering it. Any advice?

I would think for learning how to drive a manual, you would want something with a bit of a sloppy clutch. These clutches are a bit tight compared to other cars I've driven but in the long run it will only make you a better driver. These cars pretty reliable and cheap to maintain and make repairs. I would definitely would move forward and pull the trigger. If you get it, you will enjoy it. Good luck man!

The fuel tank is super small, but it comes in handy when filling up with premium gas lol. Not as hard of a hit on the wallet. Definitely an underrated car.

@@unkameatgoodbar2315 Without going crazy and spending lots of money...headers, exhaust, intake and a tune really wakes these cars up. The power to weight ratio from the factory is nice already.

Got an '08 B16. The styling is weirder than your B15, and the interior looks like a rental car or minivan. I think that put a lot of people off, but the performance is even better. 205 HP stock. These are seriously underrated for the money, and they can be had pretty cheap if you can find one that hasn't been riced. I love it.

I do agree the '08 B16 is an odd styling but the performance is unreal. Hands down I think the B15's and B16's can't be touched by any natural aspirated 4 cylinder. These cars are the best kept secret. I'm glad you're enjoying your car.

Honestly you cannot go wrong out of the three. My advice would be test drive them all and see which you like the most. I do like the rarity of the spec v and SVT. Where I live the Si is so common. Good luck on your decision.

Do you happen to know if that 6spd trans, will fit a 1.8s or the 2.5?

this trans is behind the 2.5. You could put in behind the 1.8 but it would be more money and trouble than what it's worth.

With it being a 17 year old car it won't be perfect but if the body is decent and mechanically there's nothing major then I would pull the trigger. They're fun cars that aren't expensive to work on and they are a blast to drive.

Once you drive one, game over. Its like the perfect woman, Isnt a gtr (fast woman lol) but is the most beautiful thing youve ever touched/seen and wouldnt give anything for her. I have an 04 and will keep her til I die. Just sooooo fun to drive

Hands down one of the most fun cars I've owned and driven. It's not the fastest thing out but the response and nimbleness can't be matched. Out of the box it's can't be beat. The old Spec V has taken down plenty of civic is's.

I actually bought it with the mods. It had cold air intake, headers, exhaust, and a tune. It was a quick fun car! What mods do you have planned?

Got one for $1000 runs and drives good. Ac comes on blowing cold sometimes .. wonder what it is ..

Great find!!!!! It could be as simple as something is clogged. Hopefully you get it figured out...if put the windows down and shift away listening to some good music. Enjoy your new to you car.
