You don't have to release the gas pedal while shifting up the gear in manual mode ;) The QuickShift system manages it.

Well its a habit afterall. You used feeling to drive a car specialy a manual so even he do porpusely trying to use the quickshift system. Without him realizing he just released the gas pedal because of muscle memory.

2002, my second one, 75 hp, Automatic, cozy on the inside and beautifully silver on the outside, the greatest car I ever had. Unfortunately crashed it with 45 mph in bad weather 5 years ago, and I still miss it. It was so simple and yet so great and reliable.

THE Twingo 1 or The pocket minivan. The car in which you could choose to take 4 friends with you or 12 (I'm exaggerating a little bit 🤏) suitcases by folding the back seat. Interchangeable left and right mirrors (🤷‍♂️) and a 30-year-old cast-iron Cleon engine because it was the cheapest one that was already lying on Renault's shelves the day they had to choose. And it wasn't a bad choice. The car that succeeded while missing its starting target. Twingo 1 is definitely an "urban legend"...

C'est ma première voiture et je l'adore. Honnêtement c'est le meilleur rapport poids/espace. De plus, elle consomme pas beaucoup et en ayant une conduite économique on peut facilement atteindre 40L (un plein) pour 600Km environs. Comme c'est un petit 4 cylindres, on peut facilement rouler en 4ème voir en 5ème en ville pour économiser de l'essence. Un regret, c'est la direction qui n'est pas assistée et cela demande un peu d'huile de coude car faut vraiment tourner le volant pour prendre un virage ou se garer. Sinon top, je recommande !

Citroen C1 / Peugeot 107 / Toyota Aygo (all the same car, under the body). 1.0 3cylinder engine is a delight and sounds fantastic, and they are so easy to fix and maintain. Excellent fuel economy and low taxation and insurance too.

How many speed's does it have? Mine is a 2003 manual 1.2 16V that has the power, but the gearbox is so short at 80 km/h noisy and at 100 forget about it XD

This automatic version has the same gearbox (5 speed) and clutch as yours - but it has no clutch pedal and uses a shifting ECU and a mechanical clutch controller. Very advanced for 2004 !

Are the gears longer for the automatic version? On manual shift you would switch gears like 10-20 Km/h earlier On highway it was in 4th gear until like 130 I think, manual would be almost in rev limiter

Cześć Joe. Kontynując wczorajszą rozmowę. Ja też kocham samochody od początku i od urodzenia lubiłem bardzo jeździć samochodem i dopiero później zaczołem się dużo uczyć o samochodach czyli żeby otworzyć maskę pojazdu to trzeba pociągnąć za wajche w środku samochodu przy drzwiach podejść na przód auta i pociągnąć dodatkową dźwignie pod maską i unieść ją do góry. Nikt nie wieży że w wieku 13 lat umiem sprawdzić olej, dolać płynu do spryskiwaczy. A ty AK zaczołeś przygodę z samochodami? Wczoraj napisałeś że od zawsze. Ale co Cię zmotywowało do samochodów tak sam czy ktoś inny Ci tam wiesz?

It has a standard 5 speed gearbox and clutch...... but there is no clutch pedal. It has an automated "clutch controller" which actuates the clutch and changes gear, automatically. So it works like an automatic gearbox but is built very differently. (There is no torque converter).
