Yes we've been very fortunate here weather wise. Finally got an inch of snow on New Years eve. Haven't shoveled yet. Hope it stays like this til middle of January and then warms up.

Great video and repair method. I have a similar repair from a couple of years ago. My plastic case was still intact so I was able to just clean up the contacts. We advise our customers to periodically use 4x4 to keep the system working. We are noticing many new Toyota vehicles with a manual shift for the transfercase. Toyota must have notice the amount of repairs required on the electric shift 4x4. The front actuator suffers from the same issue. Water intrusion causing corrosion on the contacts. Make me wonder if annual blast of WD40 in the vent port would keep these contacts in good shape.
