Nice video. I'm planning to take mine off to do a carbon clean, but more importantly I have to get to the rear knock sensor. Do you think it can be done with just the intake manifold off? TIA.

I've done this job on a mk6 R. It looks like you have more room in the A4.

I would like to ask for your opinion and insight. I am looking for another vehicle. I typically buy vehicles in need, repair them, enjoy them for a year or two, sell them, and repeat. I am asking for your thoughts on the Mini and the A4. I have had a number of Volkswagens and have no experience with these. I want to know how they compare to a MK5 GTI / MK6 GTI / MK6 TDI Golf / MK7 1.8 Golf / B7 Passat / B8 Passat / MK6 1.4 Jetta. I have experience with those. I am leaning towards the R56 Mini. I am speculating that it may be easier and cheaper to build / repair and lighter / better handling than the A4. I would like to get info on both, from someone like yourself that has experienced some of the cars that I have driven and modded. Any help is appreciated, as I am about to pull the trigger on my next winter project. Thanks.
