2005-2010 Chrysler 300, IVE-W530 install

I start pulling the dash apart at 3:45 if you wanna skip the beginning. In this video i install a double din alpine head unit without an aftermarket wiring harness. This Chrysler 300 has the base model stereo. if you have a different model with a different stereo i can still help you, leave a comment with your question and i will try to answer right away. i installed it this way to avoid purchasing the aftermarket wiring harness, because im cheap hahaha lol.

Hey got a question I hooked up a aftermarket head unit in my wife's 2007 chrysler 300 and I cannot get the sub to deliver sound with a loc converter and I tried str8 from the aftermarket headunit I have power to the amp and its a brand new kicker sub and I'm getting nowhere any advice

I also have a 2005 300 with the 3.5 v6. It comes up as limited with the vin but there is only a 300 badge on the back. I have 6.5 from 6x9 plates in the front and 6x9 in the back with a sub. I dont think i have an amp it looks like it is wired with the 6x9 speakers in the back. How did you get the deck to work without the can bus adapter? Every stereo installer tells me there will be dash lights going off and my door chimes and such will stop working.

If your vehicle has a factory amp this will not work! Your stereo has to send signal to factory amp to use speakers. You have to check under steering wheel to verify you have a factory amp. But you can take wire out of amp and use the small clip wires and splice into those.

If you replace the factory amp with a after market just run a new wire to the speakers no need to bypass the factory amp

Can you help me out bro I'm willing to Zelle you 20$ if you can get my subs knocking I got a 2005 300c with factory amp I bought one of those stereos from eBay literally plug n play but I have aftermarket amp I connected remote turn on it works fine but there's no sound from the subs any idea why ?? Please help I saw you mentioned having to bypass factory amp how is that done ?

Hey! I have 2005 Chrysler 300 and the screen for nav n radio isnt working. Still plays CD's but screen is blank and controls wont work. It pops on time to time and when it does everything works great but then it shuts the screen off after a while! We've also tried replacing the radio but that didn't work!!! Please HELP!!

Hey i have 2006 chrysler 300 installed after market double din today connected the two power cords to the gray and green wires 12v power(yellow wire) and the 12 v acc (red wire ) and the ground wire to black green wire but when i turn off car the radio wont auto turn off i have to manually turn it off i unhooked it all beacuse wasnt sure if it would drain my battery or not cant find anything telling me how to get it to auto turn off when i remove key but it only turns on with both power line connected tried swaping power wires still same any help would be appreciated sorry for long comment

My car is exactly the same, I can’t find a wire harness for the life of me. There’s no god damn factory amp. There isn’t no damn steering wheel controls. Yet all these wire harness are made for it. It’s a simple plug in, yet I can’t find one that fits the wiring set up. PISSED!

Chad Kirsch I have the 06 base model. I just got one from WalMart and on the box it says 300M the only thing it doesn’t have is the accessory wire. You’ll have to tap into the cig lighter wire or fuse. Or you can connect it to the constant but you’ll have to turn the radio off every time you get out of car.

Please stop doing how to videos you obviously have know idea what your doing. There is no reason to cut the factory harness off the car they make a harness that plugs into your car and has lose wires on the other end. It even comes with instructions so it’s dummy proof.
