I got a 2006 Pathfinder, cats were clogged sounds just like mine! The camshaft position sensor died, it went it they replaced the sensor cleaned the cat and then boom 2 days later smoking and sounds just like yours....I got a couple weeks then it finally went terrible

I have been having similar symptoms on a 07 xterra 114k miles. How did you determine the cylinder walls were scored?
