Hi there.have a question I have a 04 Crf250x the mot run out June last year a thought with coved a lock downs all time I’ll wait to when lockdowns over.well April think want to get back on battery dead a try claiming new one as not even year old but they do this do that said done all you asking it’s dead a get nothing back.so buy new one else were fit it choke on prime engine with 3 twist of throttle a nothing.turn to you tube a it’s your carb do a strip down clean a rebuild.try again still nothing looking again on you tube a get non starter do this a will start.say do valve clearance a will start.do it a still nothing think let’s fit new plug still nothing.people saying valves all time thinking anyone out there done them a still get nothing.but no one say anything about if you done this this this.so do a carb rebuild new jets a so on so know there’s no way any dirty bits a put it all in ultra sonic clearer.a still don’t start.test coil plug a it’s not at its best.so get new one fit it hit the start thinking yes a still don’t start.I’m at such a loss as to what’s wrong with it has me at that point where you flip out a want to jump up a down on it.said today to step son a his friends someone else prob say if just twist this bit a push this little wire say.a there you go it starts.so it’s valve clearness are fine,carb done, new plug a coil.a today took cam block off to look at piston a bore they like only done 30miles say.so valves redone. Do you have any ideas as to what could be.or anyone that reads this a ho’s I had problems just like that.Ird love for some help please

How was your fuel? Did you consider putting a fresh gas? Or checking your stator or cdi?

@@dirtbikeenthusiast9494 hi there fuel new.think cdi Honda only for checking it.trouble is live in uk so bike dealers far a few.there no Honda dealer near me for over 30miles would say.a dirt bike shops are even harder to find.don’t know where you live in Uk a shop that not main dealers will charge £72 an hour plus tax.so around $100 plus tax at 20%.thank you for reply.going take apart again this weekend with a friend that into bikes a see if he like o it’s just this.something simple that me getting fed up with trying over looked.wish in USA just seems there places all over for motorcycles.all videos on KZbin say valve clearance I’m like there got be more bikes that have them done a still not want fire up.

Assuming you have a good compression, good spark and valve clearances are set to spec and carb are cleaned and properly jetted. Consider draining all your fuel from tank and carb. Put a new one. There should be no reason not to start. Blip the throtle 3x and kick. Repeat the sequence untill it will start.
