2005 Harley Davidson Super Glide Custom test drive review

Hey I can't tell you how many of your bike videos I have watched. Finally decided to pull the trigger and found one of these bad boys for sale. So I am the proud owner of a 2005 Super Glide Custom, and man it runs so nice. Also the guy had a bore kit form the 88 to a 95 CI engine and also added a 6 speed tranny. What a find, show room clean, and 30k on the bike. Excited for many more. Screaming Eagle II pipes sound so nice. As you said in your other 2005 Super Glide video, people know you are coming or going.

Nice motorcycle you have. What is your approach to the cam chain tensioner shoes issues on 2005s and other twin cam engines? Do you inspect the shoes every service? Thanks.

hi i'm in Aus & bought one of these custom super glides 4 years ago ,& it has all the same fittings as this one being test ridden mini apes braded cables with then 143000 ks which equates to about 80 90,000 miles ive done another 10.000 ks on it nice bike ,wondering if all these optional extras may be factory options to make it a custom ,super glide ???

Just got my super glide and I've never rode. We rode like hell the first time I got on her. I popped her into 3rd on the highway and she jumped so quick all I could do was laugh

BigMonkeyGrip I'm not sure when the custom entered the line up but the major differences were the tank mounted guages a laced wheel tank badging and a blacked out motor starting in 2010. This bike looks like a super Glide to me?
