I’ve ridden on one of these buses when my hometown’s school district didn’t have any Maxxforce 7 Buses working and I like the sound of these. Unfortunately my school district has Mostly 2016 IC CES with the Cummins ISB6.7.

This bus reminds me of the day when I dressed up as a Disney Prince to school for Halloween during my senior year (no one noticed that I was wearing a costume, they think it’s just a dressing outfit). I heard the whining engine of the bus approaching, I stepped on it and the driver said “Wow, you look so handsome!” (Such memories of that bus)

Would you recommend the VT365 engine? I was looking into buying a BE but I have heard horror stories about those engines.
@lijiang2743 Жыл бұрын
After 2016, Navistar ended both the VT and DT diesel engine productions. The only engine options that you can buy are the 8.8L PSI Gasoline, and the 6.7L Cummins ISB inline-6 Turbocharged diesel.

About the smoothest VT365/6.0L Powerstroke IC CE school bus I've ever heard. But I think the Maxxforce 7s a bit quieter in person on my opinion. Even though I never rode one. I've rode Maxxforce DTs to and from school but the DT sounds good too.

The M7 is Quieter, Faster, and Smoother. I hate that we Converted them to cummins but they had problems.
@chrisholland20164 жыл бұрын
@@automotivesboy9904 yeah and the Bluebirds are pieces of junk. But yeah I figured the M7 is alot faster and quieter than the VT365. But the MDT is a damn good engine believe it or not. And it's still a little better than the M7.
@automotivesboy99044 жыл бұрын
oh yes. The MDT is a lot better than the M7. LOL thats why we haven't done any Cummins Conversions on them but I know some fleets that have done the Cummins Repower on there MDTs.

@@automotivesboy9904 that is true. I also seen a 2005/2006 IC CE 200 VT365 swaped with the T444E, Which was so dope. Like I didn't think those motor swaps would be that possible.
