Now was that mirror already on the refrigerator? I couldn't remember if you said in beginning. If you added it. How did you put them on? I would love to take our wooden panels off and put metal on. So I can put magnets on it. And give it a Farmhouse Style look. Cause I'm getting wallpaper to put on the walls to change the look of the inside. Speaking of wallpaper what do you recommend to use that is simple and doesn't break the bank

Hi Kent, Thank you for the nice comments! Hopefully we will get to meet you on the road. We're hoping to make it to a truck camper rally sometime but not sure when or where yet. That would be great if we could help motivate you to get some videos out. They are fun to make even though it does take some work. If you've already made one then the second one will hopefully be a little easier. You just have to get the ball rolling. You know a lot more about truck campers than we do so it would be great to learn from your experience. Thanks for watching! ~ Todd

Runaway Roses thanks for the info, any particular problem areas to watch out for?
@RunawayRoses
@RunawayRoses 4 жыл бұрын
@@Fishinguy962 I would say all areas in the basement. Look through the area where all of the plumbing is, around the bottom of the doors. You might even notice a mildew smell if there has been a leak for a while. Anywhere there is an opening is a chance for a leak. You could watch some of our videos that we did on the repairs to see where we found the rotten wood in ours.

Hi New Horizons, As for the surface on the roof of the camper we had it professionally polished and sealed with a high grade marine wax. The roof sealant around we used was Eternabond and Dicor lap sealant depending on the application around the vents and other features. Thanks for watching!

Loved this series. We just bought a 2015 Northern Lite 8’11”. Our purchase was exciting because it was in excellent condition. We are going to do the happy jack rebuild as you did as one is glitchy. Inside we added hypervent under the mattress. I’ll be refinishing the fridge racks and stove cover following Carlas instructions. We need to repair a couple of drawer glides but that’s about it. I may Install a curtain system across the cab over sleeping area because it doesn’t have one and it could be installed behind nicely. Found great drape systems at a marine supply store.

Great job you two. I just read all the comments and I see you intend to ask $13,900. That price is a huge bargain for that camper in that condition. You must have got it for a huge bargain.

We did pretty good when we bought it but we would have paid more for it and been able to camp in it much sooner if it had been in much better shape 😁. We didn't get to camp as much as we would have liked to last summer because we were working on campers (totally our fault).
