Great bike. I got my '09 eight years ago, same color even, trouble free. It is a little small for 2 up riding, that's where my C 50 comes in.

I used to ride in the 80's, and loved my Honda Nighthawk 650! You're right, the Suzuki sure has that great look from the past! After 28 years I'm going to ride again, and just happen to be considering buying one of these two bikes, so I'm glad I saw your video. Problem is I can't make up my mind which one I like best. I like the way the Shadow handlebars sweep back towards the rider, compared to the Suzuki. Do you fine that the Honda is better to cruise on? I definitely want a shaft drive bike too so it comes down to the fact that the 2015 Shadow is fuel injected which is the one advantage over the S50. I suppose it's going to also come down to price and condition of the bikes. Thanks for sharing!

I would say the Suzuki S 50 is a great cruising around town bike but in my opinion not great for a long bike ride on the highway Chyna gets uncomfortable after about 100 miles however the Honda shadow is a good cruiser bike all around whether it’s town or highway riding very comfortable I just put new commander twos by Michelin on my shadow sure feels a lot better than the stock tires realSmooth comfortable ride

I paid $1900 from another individual for mine it had 4886 miles when I got it but I put up some money into it about $1400 for new tires carburetor cleaning and getting and tank cleaning

Did you pull the trigger on the S50? Im also looking at a 2005 from a dealer here in Kentucky. Only 7,000 miles and they are asking $2,900. But before the other fees.... Thank you Tommy for both of these videos, very helpful to a potential future owner here. Cheers

@@tommyharper8924 Sorry to hear that the price changed for you.... Yep I just went to look at the S50 locally. It looked in better shape than most of the bikes half its age in the shop. New Dunlops, pretty clean overall. Rear turn signals were falling off but other than that great. I put down $500. I didnt know this but the dealer doesn't do any other fees besides tax/DMV stuff so I will pay just about $3,100 out the door. Good luck to you in the future.

In a couple months I’m gonna buy this 05 as my first bike and I have some questions about it. Where do you buy your parts and do you need to buy the certain 05 parts or will they work on it? What oil do you put into it? Do you have any tips or advice?

The worst thing about this bike is that it uses wire wheels,probably tube tires. This is unnaceptable

It would look more cooler I think with some sort of mag style wheels what’s the tires are tubeless
