2005 Tour of Cornwall Rally - Cornish Motorsport

By 2005 the Tour of Cornwall Rally was a well-established round of the British Tarmac Rally Championship. Each year cars from all over the country headed west in the month of March to conquer what Cornwall had to offer. One of the favourite stages being the tarmac road over the sand dunes at Hollywell Bay near Perranporth.

Unfortunately, this particular event is no more. It was last held in 2007. Once the event lost its National Tarmacadam’s Championship status the entry list dropped to a level that made it nonviable. Say la vie!
