Good job. I replaced the strainer on my 2014 Tundra and broke 7 bolts. I tried to weld a nut on the broken bolt but it didn't work so I drilled and tried using bolt extractor but broke a small piece of the corner of the transmission block. I was able to drilled 7 holes and tapped them. The corner one I just drilled through and use a nut and washer to hold the transmission pan. No leak so far.

Thanks for this. I have an 02 and from the looks of it, the process seems to be the exact same. Im sure the A750E is very similar the A340E. I know the A340E has a dipstick tube whereas the 05-06 Tundra does not. Any specific reason why you do the top two bellhousing bolts last? I'd think that's a lot of weight being forced on them if not totally supported by the jack. And I think that was part of your issue in removal. The transmission needs to be totally supported so that it doesn't bind up when pulling it back from the engine. Look up the formula of Weight x Arm = Moment. It means the rear and of that transmission is in fact significantly heavier if its not being supported properly during the final removal. And instead of screwdrivers its best to use some wood block wedges made of oak or maple.

Mt first transmission was a 2005 dodge caravan. So many part removed and cv axles just to take the tranny out. This one seems easier. Thanks for the video.

Can you do this with the car on the floor or it'll roll once the transmission is out?
