I agree. It’s because they were trying to get mainstream like stock cars. Notice all the extra interviews, rider profiles, the hot girl asking the idiotic questions, only showing parts of motos. To answer your question, rider recognition. We race, we know numbers change for a reason, fans watch and they know Michael Jordan is 23, Earnhardt was 3, money money money.
