@flutegeek0101 kilts are for scottish styled bands, capes are just for awards. most bands don't wear them when actually compete

Pageantry captains are the leaders of the color guard/drill team/flags, etc. The cadence that starts at 3:05 has been used by Arcadia forever--at least since the mid 70's. You can't listen to it without tapping or bopping.

Hmmm, my school's drum major is... myself... but a band using a mace? Do you know if he was in college? If he was in college, then I believe I can help you. If UH (University of Hawaii) rings a bell, then I know him. He's drum major of the All-State marching band as well.

I don't know who wrote the cadence. I believe it's called "Mother's"--no idea where the name came from though.
