To everyone who needs a fucking coloring book and a list of every tool you need, you probably shouldn't be attempting this. This video is way more helpful to me than a forum article with a few random pictures and arrows.

I don't have time to make tutorials. I just record and post usually. You get it. This is more to show technique used. If the other people can't pick up on it, then that's on them. I'm glad i helped you. Btw this video was shot at 4x speed. So the real time was about 17 mins to the point of dropping the axle on the floor.

have to agree with Guy H, what was your point in making this, nearly no help at all, no tool sizes given & you blocked a good portion of the process...I'll keep looking for a better explanation.

Yeah I've been beating on the rear axle with the chisel and Hammer trying to get it out of the rear differential for the past hour and it won't come out and this guy just pulls it out with one hand

Chris Montalvo big pry bar needed
@chrismontalvo68315 жыл бұрын
@@BLACKSSG85 Alrighty, I did try using a large pry bar already but I feel like the vehicle is too low to the ground at the moment so when I get home from work I'll raise the jacks up more to get a better angle with the pry bar. Thank you.
@BLACKSSG855 жыл бұрын
sometimes if you can get the right angle you can swing a hammer at the end of the pry bar and the force will pop the axle free

joe t if you're so experienced at doing this job that you don't need sound or instruction then you're obviously so experienced you don't need this video. I for one as a former back yard mechanic need help from time to time on making repairs I've never attempted. With helpful instruction I've even pulled my transmission in my dirt driveway using bottle jacks and replaced it as well. Don't assume just because someone needs to hear what's going on they are inept. I agree with others, this video was zero useful to me. Sorry, but that's justme as an aging senior of 63.
