Commented on the Vains of Jenna album video you have and again very cool to see Vains of Jenna mentioned, they were a cool band that not many knew of (it seemed like) that put out that great album you mention here. The CD I got from the show goes right with my 80's and early 90's hair metal CDs were it belongs.🤘

Loved hair metal in the 80s and still love it today. Thank you for keeping this great music alive and schooling me on some kick ass new discoveries.

Never heard of Lynam but Tigertailz are always great, and that Vains Of Jenna record man dude is fucking awesome!!!! I remember you and somebody else from high school put me on that album. Awesome album too! Really good stuff. Will have to check out Lynam but the other 2 are great. Love the show!

Dude I first discovered Lynam back around 2008 with slave to the machine. It had been out for a couple years by then but I love that album and of course I had to deep dive on the rest of their material and they have some great stuff. It also was around the same time first hearing veins of Jenna and really like those guys a lot too. I remember buying tigertailz debut when it first came out and I was in high school but just never really got into them even through the years. Too bad Lynam isn’t a thing anymore and do you know if vains of Jenna are still together? Love your channel brother🤘🏼

I’m with you on the Tigertailz debut , stevie jaimz was on the debut and then they got Hooker there after . Voj is not together still but lizzy has another band the cruel intentions. Thanks for watching brotha 🤘

The berserk album is my favorite by them. I have not checked out the 2006 version. I will definitely check it out so much more hair metal to discover.

💯 For as short of an era as people say it was , there is years and years worth of discovery within this sub genre spanning past the original years 🤘

Love seeing Birmingham's own, Lynam in that thumbnail! That's a good album.

Quite solid album unfortunately never heard anything or seen anything after this time period 😭🤘

@ they did an album in 2008 that I also really liked. They perform every now and then but Jacob has been pretty sought after for sessions, songwriting, etc. He had some involvement with the last Heaven’s Edge album if memory serves me right as well as Mick Mars’ solo album.

@ yea I do remember Jacob being involved with a lot of stuff . But it just seemed like I never heard about them after 2008 which is a shame 🤘

Great show. Added Lynam to my stuff to check out list. Out of the 4 songs you named on Bezerk 2.0 3 of them are my favorites. Vains of Jenna has been on my to do list for a while now. Maybe it's time.

Yes let me know what you think of VOJ ! 🤘

@@krashkoursemetalshow Listened to Lit Up/Let Down once yesterday and then again during this mornings workout. It's a solid 10 IMO Also checked out The Art Of Telling Lies. Personally an 8/10 for me. Going to hit up the demo's and Reverse Tripped this weekend. Thanks for mentioning them in the podcast. It was enough to get me to finally check them out.

@ that great to hear !! AoTL is good but dosent touch the debut imo 😁But the reverse tripped is all covers with the new singer . 😢

Here in Europe I think more people would agree that Crashdiet’s Rest In Sleaze was the AFD of our generation. Not to say anything bad about VOJ, of course, but I guess that is the opinion here 🤘 Bands like Lynam I used to call simply modern rock back in the day. Along with Sixx AM, Hinder and stuff like that. Anyway, early 2006 man, the year I had my first official gig 😁 What a time!
@krashkoursemetalshowАй бұрын
I agree lynam has more of that sound but you can’t deny the look 😁 I can certainly agree with the Crashdiet take , that album came out about 5 years before lit up let down as well . BUT I just prefer VOJ 😁🤘
