Great video! Were you able to easily rotate the shifter cables in the cable keeper when attempting to lock them in? I can easily rotate the right shifter cables on my short shifter. It doesn’t lock like the OEM once does when you rotate it into the keeper.

Yes I had the same experience. The cables didn't seem to lock in as tightly as OEM shifter but still lock in place

hey man i know this was posted a while ago but my shifter cables on the passenger side loves to pop out and idk what it could be. i’m thinking it’s those metal clips you were saying not to loose. do you know where i could get replacement ones? i already replaced the ball joint from the short shifter i thought it was that but it wasn’t my only hope is that it’s the clips i hope it’s not the whole shifter cable i have to replace

@@FG2-K24A that’s a fair assessment and i appreciate you taking the time. Your spot on with the goals. My car has upgraded everything but no power mods. Diff clutch and flywheel TEIN springs TEIN endura pro plus shocks New control arms Ball joints All engine mounts Drilled and slotted rotors Nst pulleys So for me connectivity and the driving experience is huge. I want to enhance and highlight what is already there. This shifter seems to be the final piece for driver engagement and enjoyment. Thank you again my man. Enjoy your build. What caps are you running in your RPF1s? They look like they sit in more flush than mine

Running the OEM Honda center caps from stock Si wheels. I did have to grind a little metal down to make the front one sit flush

I'm not sure sorry. You can try the OEM bolts and if they don't work contact Hybrid Racing. You should be able to purchase bolt from them

Are the cable supposed to snap in place and not move it all or still have a bit of play because I can rotate them almost 360° but if I just leave them how I have them they won’t pop out

They don't snap in. Just rotate them and they will stay put
