Great video. To the point, precise instructions, with no jibber jabber about off topic things. Had my master cylinder go bad and have never done clutch work before. As a beginner enthusiast, many times i’m scared off doing my own work from watching a complicated video that doesn’t need to be. Thank you!

I usually siphon the old fluid out of the reservoir, refill then pump the clutch pedal a few times and repeat the process 3 times. I don't want to mess with the intercooler as it's hard to remove and re-install.

I like how you left out the most insanely difficult part - getting the y pipe back on.

Would this help if my clutch engages as soon as I start lifting my foot? My clutch pedal is pretty much to the floor

this was helpful but i don’t want a link to the wrench set you used, i want to know what size of wrenches and tools i need, why were you not saying it as you went? say “these 12mm bolts for the intercooler” and “you’ll need a 10mm for the valve” and “I used dot 4 brake fluid but anything will work”, just stuff like that which actually makes it easier, you tell us how it’s done but then don’t bother telling us what we’ll need and we still end up doing a lot of guesswork, like what size tube did you use? is it a half inch? now i have to go to autozone and get different ones until i figure it out. my examples where i said 10mm or 12mm might be wrong because… you didn’t say what i’ll need and i have yet to go and figure it out.

for future video making say it as you go or put a tools list in the description, this isn’t a requirement and either way you did me a favor by making this video but if you intend to pursue video making and tutorials like this you should start including these details to make it easier on your viewers, i saw that you answered the question in the comment for the 1/4” tubing, but he shouldn’t have had to ask it, if someone asked that in comments and i answered it i would go back and edit it to include the answer to that question in the description

Holy moly man if you can’t take 2 seconds to figure out what size wrench or socket you might need then you should probably take your car to a shop. ALSO, this guy took the time to make a helpful video for FREE. Kids these days… I’ll be surprised if you can tie your own shoes.

Yeah, I would say between the brake bleed and the clutch bleed, the clutch bleed definitely had the most noticeable improvement in feel.

So is that Resevoir for both the brakes and clutch fluid?
@randalfuentes69532 жыл бұрын
No, it's a different one, the brake fluid reservoir is bigger and is more exposed, while the clutch is normally smaller and not as exposed.
