2006 to 2013 Impala ABS, StabiliTrak, other warning lights

Impala and many other Chevy models. Bad hub bearing is one of the main cause for ABS related warning lights, but since replacing hub bearing is not an easy job for common people, start with checking wiring harness for ABS, Stabilink, Service Brake assist and other warning lights. You need some a multi-meter, elbow grease and common sense.

I had a 13 impala with 50k miles that developed this issue. I changed wheel bearings, wire harnesses, cv axles, put new brakes, rotors, flushed the brake fluid, everything 4 shops and a chevy dealership could think to do in my area and never did get it corrected. I got tired of messing with it and sold it for 3 grand and bough a honda civic. No issues now. GM has major issues with their junk traction control systems which they refuse to issue a recall for and provide a proper fix.

Did you recently get an oil change? I had something similar and found a plug that clips in loose... mysteriously. Plugged it in and all was good. Just saying. Place was gonna charge for diagnostic test, already knowing what the problem was.

Yeah my wire that was actually on my wheel hub bearing was disconnected apparently I bought the car like that so I have a family member that has discounts on parts so I bought another wheel hub bearing and it came with the part. And my problem is gone.

All that stupid noise at the beginning is not necessary, more of a deterrent. With that I will not push the button. Also, you didn’t really explain anything.
