Love this team, favorite UConn team ever but they will never be remembered because they didnt get the job done. I remember watching the Tournament that year and UConns games were always close even when they played #16 Albany. Also against Washington need a Gaming Winning Shot and the Kentucky game was close as well. And then against George Mason need a buzzer beater to get it into OT. I knew UConns luck was going to run out over time. Great Team but just feel short...

I don't really like uconn too but i gotta say they play damn good... as a team and there are not these egos like in nba :P I prefere watching college games cus they really keep it real!

It's pretty funny how you only put one highlight from the Albany game. You all had a championship team, but that's what makes the tourney so great and unpredictable.

@tbone072892 Yea Rashad was the man in the clutch. he almost always hit big 3's when we had to have them.

that team was all offense no defense, the 04 team had Okafor's defensive presence and Taliek Browns premiter defense. That team was mentally tougher and had more poise. The 06 team got overconfident, late in the season they approached games like it was an AND1 street ball game. Marcus Williams was very talented but had a poor work ethic and it shows now thats hes playing in europe. Uconn is back on top again.

you're thinking of the Big East Championships. Title is just best record in the Big East which they have.

i highly doubt that. syracuse is ranked way too high this year after losing mcnamara, even though he wasnt that good, he just took 40 shots a game.
