The nubuck on the retro is buttery, but my ‘06 pair is still holding up (minus a heel tab broken off). I stopped buying retros of 7’s after the ‘21 Flints dropped; they don’t hit the same. I ended up buying most of the ‘06 releases for steals, and did any necessary repairs on them. I just need to get the Pacific Blues and Varsity Maize joints to complete the ‘06 collection.

I love these simple clean versatile and 7s are a dope shoe even though they don’t any love but this is a dope pair I like how the black is now without the white lines it’s much cleaner now the lines I believe were just how the shoe came together n contrast stitching n out lining were popular around that time the Unc 5s n citrus 7s displayed but imma pick these up glad they are back

In my honest opinion, I do not particularly fan out for the concept of white outlining. I think it is onl. Equitable when the outlining organically occurs over time of age. In such cases, it becomes necessary to incorporate it unless suede dye is applied. But A solid black color? gives it a completely new and refreshed appearance. 🤌🏽❄️ Furthermore, I would also like to mention my fascination with suede. Am I the only one who takes pleasure in creating fingerprints on suede, treating it like fur? 😂😂 I believe the updated version resembles more of a faux fur suede, reminiscent of the 2006 design.
