So about after a month (feels longer) of owning it I freaking love it man. Been venturing out to the country roads/routes with it. Its made riding so much fun.

Have had my 06 since 2019 , Im the 2nd owner . Bought it with 7000 miles currently at 19K. These bikes are none to last for ever with proper maintenance . I just purchased a 2014 CB1000R with 9K in on this one Ill be putting tons of miles since it has a Fire Blade honda engine known to last for ever. I would love to own FZ8 but that bike is rare and would have to fly out of state pick one up. But FZ6 are iron stout bikes at affordable price

I had one but it was black and had a similar round headlight i fitted on myself, loved every second of it, was my first big boy bike, had the same exhaust and was great fun and hella fast, miss it everyday

Yeah when I saw how these are supposed to look stock I couldn't believe it

Just found your channel bc of your xsr900. Owned this exact fz6 and fz1 for a while. Just sold both of them last week and have a deposit down on a brand new xsr900. Great bikes but wanted to combine the 2 and add modern saftey features. Super excited. Btw the fz6 when sprocketed (-1, +2) is a whole different beast from stock
@TheCoolestCourier Жыл бұрын
Awesome. I think you're really going to love it. It's like the power of the FZ1 with the lightness of the FZ6 and with all the tech and even slightly better handling

This is my dream bike been saving up for it. I love the original fz6n headlight for it

i had Yamaha dragstar 650 for 2 years.. After ,i got Yamaha xt660z for 4 years.. From last May i got Yamaha T7 since now and is fabulous.. But ,im thinking to go for xsr 900 or mt 09, Yamaha again ! 2 things are keeping me on hold before make this switch. Comfort and riding on bad tarmac roads like 18:00 minute. I mean, with T7 i go full throttle without thinking the bad condition of any road. I dont want "death'' traps or bumbs here and there, hold me slow or nervous ,or overthinking what next corner brings on. With T7 i have no worries for bad roads ,and im very comfy, relaxed 90 digree legs corner and relaxed hands ,im 185cm tall. So , with this 2 things on my mind im kind of afraid to sell my T7 and go for mt9 or xsr900. i cant have 2 bikes! And i cant have any test ride cause i live in country side in Greece. But im thinking on oposite side that, hey , cant be sooo unconfortable ,cant be so harsh or undriviable on bad roads, its Yamaha right?? !! What do you think??

I feel like when your on a bike that had a under tail exhaust it's not as loud to the rider but it's still super loud behind it
@TheCoolestCourier Жыл бұрын
I think you're right. On the bike it wasn't crazy loud but following it it's super loud. That seems like the worst of Both Worlds. My xsr is decently loud on the bike and almost quiet when you're following it. It's the only stock exhaust I've ever really liked. But honestly it is actually the intake I'm hearing most of the time on my bike. The new CP3 bikes might have the loudest intake I've ever heard

I'm not sure. It's my friend's bike and it came with it when he bought it from the guy

@TheCoolestCourier yea when I had the stock exhaust on my 2022 mt07 ypu could hear the intake more than the exhaust

Got the same bike, same ebay “sc project” exhaust. Its pretty fkn loud haha. Such a comfortable bike to ride. Handles well. Good brakes. Overall wonderful bike, mines got 26,000 miles.

Nice video? I want to purchase one for daily riding. Will a top box look okay with it? Can you put a gear indicator on it. Not comfortable without it

What does “lock on it” mean
@skye51322 ай бұрын
There is a gear indicator mod, might be an OEM one too. counting is much cheaper though

How have you mounted your mic inside your helmet to pick up so little wind noise? Is it done in post?
@TheCoolestCourier3 ай бұрын
I electrical taped my purple Panda Mike to the inside of my GoPro mount. The mount is from dango designs. It's a Motocross GoPro Mount. It works surprisingly well!

I have one of these Yamahas they're really nice bikes you should try the commander 5 with no exhaust like that just stock and you'll find it a completely better bike with much better mid-range and nobody knows you're flying along because it's super quiet plus I put the quickshifter on it and talk about Snappy shifts topped out at 156 mph

It's the go pro angle. There was plenty of space. In Socal, riders can be dumb though. I've ridden with so many people who casually pass cars in blind hairpin corners.
