I heard the reason for the storage space under the hood on the passenger side is because they transfer the power steering components depending on if it's a European car or sent to the states. Because of which side the steering wheel is where those components go.

Straight to the crushers 🤣 I had one of these low mileage, nice spec in black as a company car. I mean, everything just broke. From electrical glitches to a broken diff and brittle plastics under the hood that gave way and had to be replaced. But it looked and drove nice, the only reason I didn't swapped it for a Lexus IS
