Well...a year later and you are still helping ..... Luckily I watched all the way to the end. I ran out there....placed the key to the 'on' position....pressed the brake pedal down and shifted into 'R'.......ran to the back, lowered the tailgate and 'jiggled the wires' you are talking about..........and 'BOOM' the Alarm Alert started chiming.....that was it....the wire was rubbing.... Put a deck ledge there....released the tailgate cables ( I have the '09 EXT)....moved the tailgate out of the way rested on the ledge.....taped up the wires.....and put Humpty Dumpty back together.............. thanks.......I did learn alot about diagrams and testers tho.....hahahaha

I have a 2007 escalade ext. But my reverse camera does nothing. It doesn't even do the black screen like yours, or do vin is missing. When it goes into reverse it stays the same just the radio.. any suggestions?

I think it means there is no reverse signal is being send to either the camera or the radio all depends on the circuit design.

@@DallasAutoDiag I'm getting no power on my camera signal I have power on the positive wires. But the camera signal has no power at the module or harness in liftgate

@@declanballingall4361 i think its time to replace the camera. Make sure your ground is good. Load test it with a test light.
